The vast white marble lobby, with a cascading fountain, creates a relaxing and serene environment for hotel guests.
Recently refurbished, each of the 510 rooms and 22 deluxe suites is elegantly decorated with inlaid cherry wood furniture, luxurious fabrics, wheat-colored wall coverings and lush green plants. Gold drapes frame windows with unique shades screening direct sunlight out while allowing guests panoramic views of the city. Baths are large and lavishly appointed with marble and include both a bathtub and stall shower.
Different floors offer different options. While furnished with traditional occidental beds, Japanese floor suites include small rock gardens and Japanese-style bathrooms with granite soaking tubs. Nikko Floor rooms may only be accessed by hotel guests and offer use of a spacious private lounge. The fifth-floor fitness facility has traditional Japanese soaking tubs and a whirlpool, sauna and swimming pool.
The hotel’s Restaurant ANZU offers a wide variety of entrees, the freshest sushi and prime Midwestern steaks. The Hotel Nikko's Baxter Chang Patri Fine Art gallery holds works of internationally-renown artists.
