The recently opened St. Regis redefines luxury and creates a new class of hotel experience in San Francisco. Streamlined design, exotic textiles and the highest staff-to-guest ratio of any hotel in the city beckon upscale travelers. Since opening, the St. Regis has been the recipient of numerous awards for design excellence – and deservedly so. The hotel is located in the vibrant SOMA area where many fine galleries, museums and entertainment venues abound.
The 260 guest rooms feature warm leathers and high-tech wonders such as motorized window coverings and LCD control consoles. Standard amenities include state-of-the-art plasma screen televisions, fine Pratesi linens and finishes such as Bella Crema marble and Mozambique wood doors. Bathrooms are appointed with deep soaking tubs, glass-enclosed stone showers with mounted rainfall showerheads and exclusive Remede bath products.
Guests will find a museum celebrating African art and culture contained within the St. Regis. Additionally, San Francisco’s famed Museum of Modern Art is located directly adjacent to the hotel.
Hiro Stone and Lissa Doumani have created the St. Regis Hotel’s flagship restaurant Ame. Ame is located in the historic Williams Building section of the lobby and features seasonal New American Cuisine with an emphasis on fresh seafood that includes a sashimi bar.
