Beginning life in 1905 as the exotic Sultan Turkish Baths, the establishment served its last client in 1928, then began its storied journey to its present life as a charming European-style boutique hotel. The Andrews was renovated in 1981 when Harry Andrews bought the six-story Queen Anne structure and named it after his grandfather.
The intimate lobby holds classic period books, an authentic grandfather clock and oversized chairs that immediately invite the guest to relax. Guests may choose to reach their rooms by use of an authentic “cage-lift” or ascend the wonderfully restored white-banistered stairway.
The 48 small, well-maintained guestrooms have been lovingly returned to their original Victorian splendor. Decorated in French Country florals, each room features fresh flowers, a down comforter, writing desk, an arm chair, lace curtains and a large walk-in closet. Bathrooms are small but attractive. Elegant complimentary continental breakfasts are served on each floor.
Located on the ground floor of the Andrews Hotel, the Fino Restaurant offers skillfully prepared Italian cuisine in an inviting atmosphere complimented by an open kitchen, mahogany bar, high ceilings and arched windows.
