“Spring Awakening,” a beautiful bronze statue, dominates a lobby of polished marble floors, soft, muted colors and subdued lighting. The cherry wood and black marble-topped registration desk is adorned with exotic orchids.
The 104 guest rooms and suites testify to the hotel’s success in providing extra-spacious, soundproof rooms featuring the latest in technology. All rooms are light and airy with attractive, contemporary furnishings crafted from imported Balinese woods, black and white photographs of local landmarks, and palm plants. Beds are dressed in Frette linens with cream-colored feather duvets. Baths have cream marble floors, black granite countertops and Aveda toiletries.
The hotel’s chic bar is artfully designed and leads guests to Vignette, the Orchard’s restaurant, featuring modern American cuisine with French influences. Tables are sumptuously appointed with elegant linens and an eclectic array of china patterns. Guests may wish to indulge in a venison loin with white truffle mashed potatoes, but should be sure to leave room for warm chocolate cake with Tahitian vanilla whip!
