Seventeen iconic columns frame the front of the Ritz-Carlton’s majestic, nine-story 1909 Neo-classical façade. The breathtaking lobby holds a series of sitting areas ornamented with polished marble, Georgian antiques, museum-quality 18th- and 19th-century paintings and artwork, Waterford candelabras and Louis XVI blue marble urns with gilt mounts.
The Ritz-Carlton’s 336 guest rooms and suites feature lavish furnishings and artwork, feather beds with 300-count Egyptian Frette linens and Italian marble baths. Families will appreciate the POLO, or "Protect Our Little Ones," program and the Nanny Survival Kit for their au pairs. A custom-made bronze Windsor dog bed is part of the hotel’s VIP, or Very Important Pet, policy.
Guests may take a traditional afternoon tea in the elegant Lobby Lounge overlooking the hotel’s landscaped gardens or choose to enjoy Mediterranean fare alfresco at The Terrace. For the ultimate dining experience, The Dining Room at the Ritz-Carlton features cuisine by Chef Ron Siegel, former executive chef at Masa’s, and is one of only thirteen restaurants in North America to earn Exxon-Mobil’s Five Star ranking for 2004.
