The hotel’s multitude of balconies and patios gives the building its distinctive honeycomb appearance. At street level, the understated entry gives way to a lavishly appointed lobby with Australian lacewood accents, crystal chandeliers and Italian granite.
The 360 guest rooms and parlor suites are understated with a residential-like feel. A soothing chocolate, taupe and caramel color scheme complements lacewood paneling and contemporary Italian wood furnishings. All rooms have fresh flowers, comfortable beds with Frette goose down duvet covers, and large baths with polished granite sinks.
While most rooms have views of the city, corner and upper floor rooms may offer especially breathtaking views of the bay. Suites feature private balconies and patios on which guests may enjoy the fresh ocean air.
A magnificent spiral staircase encircling a dramatic bronze Italian sculpture by Arnaldo Pomodoro leads to the upper level restaurant Park Grill, which serves market fresh cuisine that combines creativity and tantalizing tastes in an elegant setting. Casual alfresco dining is offered in a garden setting offering views of the city.
