Footprints, handprints and autographs of visiting stage stars pave the way to the Hotel Diva’s front door. The black, granite and green glass entrance into the intimate lobby is like a fashionable work of contemporary art design.
The 116 gracious guest rooms and suites are carpeted in cobalt blue and furnished with Le Corbusier chairs, sconce lighting, gray window shades and steel light fixtures. Plush beds are piled with sumptuous linens and silver bedspreads and feature wave-shaped, brushed-steel headboards. Baths are stocked with all the extras. The Little Diva's kid’s suite is a perennial favorite and should be booked well in advance. Health-conscious guests will want to take advantage of the hotel’s complimentary cardio workout room.
True to its name, the Hotel Diva is located directly across the street from the Curran Theater and the American Conservatory Theater and within walking distance of numerous other playhouses, fine restaurants and clubs. Theater-goers will find no more convenient or sophisticated spot to take advantage of San Francisco’s dramatic night life.
