Built in 1913, and fashioned in the style of Louis XVI, the Warwick Regis Hotel offers an authentic European experience in the heart of San Francisco.

Traditional and European in style, the elegant eight-story Warwick Regis was designed by the same award-winning architects that built San Francisco’s famed City Hall. Entering the impressive lobby, one is greeted by pristine French and English antiques, grand chandeliers, Italian marble, velvet valances and fine lace. In 2002, the hotel underwent an extensive renovation; the renovation ensured that the Warwick Regis’s classic European elegance and comfort were maintained.

Located just two blocks from Union Square, the Warwick Regis is also conveniently positioned near two of San Francisco’s most prominent theaters.

Guestrooms and suites are tastefully appointed in true Louis XVI style. The charming spaces feature four-poster beds, hard-carved headboards, antique armoires and lace curtains. Each room’s private bath has elegant black and white Italian marble walls and floors.

Featuring the best of locally grown produce, the Warwick Regis’s La Scene Café and Bar serves California Cuisine with a Mediterranean influence. The La Scene’s celebrated signature dish is pan-roasted scallops served with mashed potatoes.
