The lobby’s original whitewashed brick walls have been left exposed to complement the marble flooring, plush love seats, mahogany bookcases, lush plants and welcoming fireplace. The hotel’s namesake papier-mâché griffon stands watch over guests relaxing in the intimate, residential atmosphere.

The 62 guest rooms and suites have lofty ceilings, whitewashed brick walls and are beautifully outfitted with fine cherry wood furnishings, ultra-comfortable beds with custom-carved headboards, pillowed window seats and baths with marble vanities. Five luxury suites allowing panoramic views of Treasure Island and the nearby Bay Bridge comprise the top floor of this four-story establishment.
