The Hotel California

Formerly the Savoy Hotel, the newly remodeled Hotel California offers guests European style with French Provincial and California overtones.

Celebrating over 90 years as a hotel, the building has received a head-to-toe interior facelift. Creating a feast for the senses, the vibrant yellows, mahoganies, bright woods and polished tiles enliven the lobby and rooms.

Featuring 70 rooms and 12 suites, the Hotel California’s non-smoking, deco-themed guestrooms feature standard amenities such as flat-screen TVs, featherbeds, 400-thread-count sheets and goose-down pillows. The guest rooms vary slightly in size and configuration, a bygone characteristic of classic hotels before the days of modern, box-style structures.

The Hotel California features an excellent central location near San Francisco’s theater and shopping districts. Many fine dining choices and nightlife options are within a short walk or quick taxi ride. Eric Tucker’s Millennium Restaurant is located adjacent to the lobby and features award-winning gourmet vegetarian cuisine.
